PURPOSE: A multi-codec, simultaneous translation voice transmission system based on multi-channel, and a method thereof are provided to offer a streaming service by multiplexing a plurality of simultaneous translation voices. CONSTITUTION: A multi-channel multiplexer(20) multiplexes translation voice data processed by a multi-code encoder. A streaming server(30) transmits a multi-channel voice stream multiplexed by the multi-channel multiplexer to a user terminal. A multichannel de-multiplexer(40) receives a multi-channel voice stream and listening selection language from the user terminal. The multichannel de-multiplexer extracts digital voice data corresponding to the listening selection language from the received multi-channel voice stream. A multi-codec decoder(50) converts the digital voice data extracted by the multi-channel de-multiplexer into an analog voice.
