<p>PURPOSE: A light quantity controlling apparatus of an LED lamp is provided to reduce energy of an LED lamp driven by a battery by generating light in consideration of an external light source. CONSTITUTION: An LED(Light Emitting Diode) lamp unit(10) generates a light. An internal sensor(12) is installed inside the LED lamp unit in order to measure the internal intensity of radiation of the LED lamp unit. An external sensor(11) measure the external light quantity of the LED lamp unit. The internal sensor and the external sensor consist of a light sensor. An electronic switch(14) turns on/off power supplied to the LED lamp unit according to a PWM signal. A control unit(13) transfers internal light quantity and external light quantity data from the internal sensor and the external sensor. The control unit transfers the PWM signal to the electronic switch.
