<p>The system (1) has a drum (2) rotatably connected with a shank that is connected with fixed parts of a boat. The drum is firmly connected with a holder (4) that is provided for fastening of a corner of a sail in the boat. The holder is brought into engagement with a rudder line that is operated by a yachtsman. A blocking unit is provided for selective blocking of the drum in a rotational direction and operated using appropriate control elements by the yachtsman.
