PURPOSE: A financial transaction information authentication system using a 2D barcode and a method thereof are provided to perform user authentication through a user terminal and a mobile terminal, thereby improving security. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(110) transmits one or more pieces of financial transaction information including a transaction history of a user to a financial server(120). The user terminal receives and outputs a 2D barcode including the financial transaction information from the financial server. A mobile terminal(130) scans the 2D barcode outputted from the user terminal. The mobile terminal outputs the financial transaction information. The user terminal performs first user authentication.
