PURPOSE: An airbag device of a bonnet is provided to support a rear part of the lifted bonnet and to protect pedestrians falling down on the bonnet. CONSTITUTION: An airbag device of a bonnet comprises a hood(1) and an air bag cushion(10). The hood opens/closes an engine room. The air bag cushion lifts a rear part of the hood in the inside of the hood when gas flows. The air bag cushion is deployed between wind shield glass(3) and the hood, thereby covering the hood and the windshield glass. The air bag cushion comprises first and second cover parts(12,14) and a bonnet supporting part(16). The first cover unit covers the hood and the second cover unit covers the windshield glass. A hood supporting unit supports the hood inside the hood. |
