PURPOSE: An electronic device is provided to prevent information leakage by not storing an encoding key in removable memory media. CONSTITUTION: A memory interface(11) is connected to a storage media. A control unit(1) generates an encoding key with predetermined timing and stores encoded data in memory media by encoding data which is stored in the memory media based on the encoding key. Once removal of the memory media by user is detected, the control unit stores the encoding key in the memory media by relating with the encoded data. When timeout occurs, the control unit restores a connection state of the memory media and the memory media interface and deletes the encoding key from the memory media.
