The invention relates to a rain poncho that can be converted into a tent, characterised in that it is a rectangular piece of fabric made of an impermeable material, used as a rain poncho, with an opening in the centre thereof for the cap so that the person's head can be passed through when it is used as a rain poncho, and another piece of insulating material for forming the floor and the doors when joined to the rain poncho by the longitudinal ends, by means of a zip or other joining system, thereby forming the tent in the form of a tube. In order to provide the tent with shape and body, two flexible rods or pre-formed metal rods are used, that are cut into sections in order to facilitate the transport thereof, and once joined, they are inserted into guides in the sides of the poncho and the same material thereof. So that the assembly remains taut, guy ropes are provided at each end of the tent. |
