<p>PURPOSE: An electric car recharging system and a method thereof are provided to easily and conveniently manage charging and cost payment for electric car parking in a building accessed by a plurality of people. CONSTITUTION: Recharging terminals(11) are located in a shared area for parking in a building access by a plurality of people. The recharging terminal comprises a recharging management unit(10), a power supply unit(20) and a control unit(30). The recharging terminal comprises a car input sensor(111) for confirming entrance of electric car; a license camera(112) for recognizing the license plate number of the entered electric car; and a control panel(113) which performs input and output of charging/cost payment control information of the electric car and output of charging/cost payment status information.
