<p>PURPOSE: A signal detecting method of a MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) transmission and an apparatus thereof are provided to obtain performance similar to a signal detection method by an ML(Maximum Likelihood) estimated method and to reduce complexity. CONSTITUTION: A processor obtains M receiving symbols through each receiving antenna. The processor determines candidate symbols through M receiving antennas. The processor groups a plurality of the candidate symbols as N groups. The processor detects a plurality of the candidate symbols through M-1 receiving antenna(306).
