PURPOSE: An e-mail summary generating method, a device thereof, and a computer-readable recording medium thereof are provided to generate a new e-mail summary by merging the same user information or plural e-mails having the same subjects. CONSTITUTION: A clustering unit(131) clusters plural e-mails having the same subjects into a single group. An extracting unit(132) determines and extracts a basic e-mail from e-mails set as the group. An evaluating unit(133) calculates similarity between the basic e-mail and the other mail in the group.
