<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus which can set a plurality of patterns of a ratio of an electric power supplied from a plurality of heating coils to heating objects by an easy and inexpensive configuration and control of an inverter circuit. <P>SOLUTION: An induction heating apparatus comprises an inverter circuit 40 to which two resonance circuits are connected in parallel. The resonance circuits respectively include a first heating coil 48 provided on an inner side and a second heating coil 49 provided on an outer side to which resonance capacitors are connected in parallel, respectively. Between a resonance frequency of a first resonance circuit 56 including the first heating coil and a first resonance capacitor 50 connected to the first heating coil in series, and a resonance frequency of a second resonance circuit 57 including the second heating coil and a second resonance capacitor 51 connected to the second heating coil in series, switching means 60 is connected in series between the resonance circuit having a higher resonance frequency and the inverter circuit.
