<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element with long life, and provide a light-emitting device and an electronic appliance with long life. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting element includes, between a pair of electrodes, a light-emitting layer and a layer for controlling the movement of carriers. The layer for controlling the movement of the carriers contains a first organic compound with carrier transport property, and a second organic compound which lowers the carrier transport property of the first organic compound. The second organic compound is dispersed in the first organic compound. Thus, the provision of the layer for controlling the movement of the carriers can suppress the secular change of the carrier balance, thereby providing the light-emitting element with long life. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
