摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# Molybdenum, bismuth and iron containing multi-metal oxide composition is claimed. #CMT# : #/CMT# Molybdenum, bismuth and iron containing multi-metal oxide composition of formula (Mo 1 2Bi aCo bFe cK dSi eO x) (I), is claimed. Either b : 7-8.5; and c : 1.5-3; or 12-b-c-1.5x c : A; and b/c : 2.5-9; either A : 0.5-1.5; and a : 0.5-1; or a/A : 0.2-1.3; d : 0-0.15; e : 0-2.5; and x : number that is determined by the valency and frequency of elements in (I) other than O. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a coated catalyst comprising a carrier molded body and a shell containing (I), which is located on the outer surface of the carrier molded body; (2) a complete catalyst molded body, whose active composition comprises (I); (3) preparing (I), comprising producing a finely divided dry mixture from sources of its elemental constituents, and calcining at 350-650[deg] C; and (4) a heterogeneously catalyzed gas-phase oxidation of 3-6C alkane, 3-6C alkanol, 3-6C alkanal, 3-6C alkene and/or 3-6C alkenal, on a catalyst bed containing (I) and at least one catalyst. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# (I) and the catalyst are useful for catalyzing a heterogeneously catalyzed partial gas phase oxidation of 3-6C alkane, 3-6C alkanol, 3-6C alkanal, 3-6C alkene and/or 3-6C alkenal on a catalyst bed, preferably of propene to acrolein as main product and acrylic acid as byproduct (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# In the conversion of propane to acrolein, (I) facilitates an improved overall selectivity for the formation of acrolein and acrylic acid (i.e. improved product value overall selectivity). #CMT#INORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Components: The geometry of a ring of the complete catalyst molded body exhibits a wall thickness of 1-3 mm, a length of 2-10 mm and an outer diameter of 2-10 mm. #CMT#DEFINITIONS : #/CMT# Preferred Definitions: d : 0.04-0.1; e : 0.5-2; either A : 0.5-1.25; or a/A : 0.3 -1.2; and b/c : 3-9. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# First solution (prepared by providing completely desalinated water (4750 g) and heating under stirring (150 rpm) at 60[deg] C, adding potassium hydroxide (2.65 g) and ammonium heptamolybdate tetrahydrate (568.53 g) portion-wise under stirring) was mixed with a second solution (prepared by providing aqueous cobalt(II) nitrate solution (1032. 68 g) and heating under stirring (150 rpm) at 60[deg] C, subsequently adding crystalline iron(III)-nitrate nonahydrate (223.06 g) and heating under stirring). Then the obtained mixture was warmed and silica gel (50.2 g) was added to the mixture. Then the mixture was spray dried in a spray tower to obtain molybdenum, bismuth and iron containing multi-metal oxide composition of formula (Bi 0.6Mo 12Co 8Fe 2K dSi 1.6K 0.08).</p>
