SURGICAL INSTRUMENT AND CARTRIDGE FOR USE THEREWITH A cartridge assembly (710a, 710b) is disclosed. The cartridge assembly (710a, 710b) comprises a cartridge housing (720) and a cartridge (740). The cartridge housing (720) has a plurality of biasing members (722) thereon. The cartridge (740) is configured for reception at least partially within the cartridge housing (720). The cartridge (740) includes a plurality of fasteners (760) at least partially therein. The cartridge (740) has a plurality of pockets (742). Each fastener (760) is ejectable from a corresponding pocket (742). The cartridge (740) has a plurality of chambers (744), and each chamber (744) is adjacent a pocket (742) and configured to store at least one fastener (760) at least partially therein. At least one fastener (760) is movable from the chamber (744) to the pocket (742). The cartridge (740) includes a plurality of pushers (800), where each pusher (800) is configured to engage at least one corresponding fastener (760). At least one pusher (800) includes at least one cam surface (800) thereon.
