PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve: automatic connection between a collector member and an element end surface; automatic polarity discrimination between the collector member and the element end surface; and automatic defective capacitor element discrimination.

SOLUTION: Anode side or cathode side electrode overhang parts (8A and 8B) having different end surface shapes or end surface areas, or anode side or cathode side electrode parts (20A and 20B) having different end surface shapes or end surface areas are formed on an element end surface (6). Discrimination whether the electrode overhang parts or the electrode parts are on the anode side or the cathode side is made according to the end surface shapes or the end surface areas of them. Anode side or cathode side external terminals (anode terminal 24A and cathod terminal 24B) are connected to collector plates (18A and 18B) which are connected to the electrode overhang parts or the electrode parts, and are discriminated whether they are on the anode side or the cathode side from the discrimination information.
