<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device, which is capable of effectively performing sealing, and further which facilitates cleaning, and to provide a method of producing a honeycomb filter. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing device 100 includes: a body 10 comprising a recess 10d and a communication passage 10e which opens on the inner surface of the recess 10d; an elastic plate 20 arranged on the body 10 to cover the recess 10d; a scraper 202; a scraper support unit 205 for contactably supporting the scraper 202 on the surface of the elastic plate 20; and a movement unit 40 for moving the scraper 202, which comes in contact with the surface of the elastic plate 20, along the surface of the elastic plate 20, relatively to the elastic plate 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
