<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding type rice transplanter which smoothly moves mat-like seedlings by a preliminary seedling placing unit to prevent the mat-like seedlings placed in a rear end position from moving forward. <P>SOLUTION: The riding type rice transplanter includes three preliminary seedling tables Ca linearly in the front and rear direction, wherein rollers R for smoothly sending a seedling box backward in which the mat-like seedlings are stored.
