<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer controller capable of performing glossiness controls for a toner image such as high-gloss processing and low-gloss processing for a toner image surface using a clear toner. <P>SOLUTION: A printer controller comprises: a color information determination part 13 that, for a raster image of each color-separated color, on the basis of each piece of gradation information, determines a color of a pixel most largely involved in irregularity creation on a color toner image surface and outputs the determination as color information SEL; an image generation part 14 that, on the basis of the gradation information of the raster image of each color, generates a raster image for a clear toner image; a dot signal generation part 16 that, from the raster image for the clear toner image, generates a dot signal of a dot characteristic having equal or opposite phase to a dot characteristic for the color toner image for each of the color-separated colors; and a dot signal selection transmission part 17 that, from the plurality of dot signals generated by the dot signal generation part 16, selects the dot signal of the color corresponding to the color information SEL and transmits the selected dot signal to the printer engine 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
