FOLDING TRANSOM FOR A COLLAPSIBLE BOAT Collapsible boats (10) with foldable rigid transoms are disclosed. A collapsible boat (10) includes a collapsible hull (16) formed from a plurality of panels (38, 40, 48, 52, 58) that extend from a first end (12) to a second end (14) of the collapsible/inflatable boat (10). Each of the panels (38, 40) is connected with at least one the other panels (38, 40, 48, 52, 58). The collapsible hull (16) is configurable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. A folding rigid transom (132) is used to constrain at least two rear margins of the panels (38, 40, 48, 52, 58) when the hull is in the expanded configuration. The folding rigid transom (132) and seats remain attached to the hull (16) when the hull (16) is in the collapsed configuration.
