<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector, when cooling a plurality of light sources, capable of setting a predetermined temperature range for each light source by directly spraying a cooling medium to a heat sink that is provided in each light source by a cooling fan that is provided in each light source according to light conversion efficiency based on a heat generating amount and a junction temperature of each light source. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 10 includes a plurality of light source devices to become heat-generating sources, and other heat-generating sources such as a control circuit, in a housing. The projector 10 includes cooling passages for individually supplying the respective light source devices with outer air.
