COMPOSITE REINFORCEMENT FIBER BUNDLE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND MOLDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite reinforcement fiber that has good impregnability of resin into a reinforcement fiber bundle and is capable of providing a molding having both excellent flame retardancy and weather resistance; a method for producing the same; and a molding material.

SOLUTION: The composite reinforcement fiber bundle is formed by impregnating 100 pts.wt. of a reinforcement fiber bundle (A) with 10-200 pts.wt. of a phosphorus flame retardant (B) and 0.2-10 pts.wt. of a light stabilizer (C). The molding material is composed of the composite reinforcement fiber bundle and a thermoplastic resin composition (D). Also, the method for producing a composite reinforcement fiber bundle includes contacting the component (B) and the component (C) in a molten state at 0-320°C with the component (A) and further impregnating the component (A) with the component (B) and the component (C) in an amount of 80-100 wt.% of the supply amount by heating them.
