<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, an apparatus, and a program for measuring circle shape characteristics that are capable of high-accuracy measurement under optimal conditions without increasing the load on an operator. <P>SOLUTION: A circular shape characteristics measuring apparatus comprises: a shape measuring unit that measures a contour shape of a circular cross section of a target object having a circular cross section to obtain measurement data, and an arithmetic processing unit that calculates circular shape characteristics of the circular cross section on the basis of contour data obtained by performing rolling circular processing and filter processing on the measurement data obtained by the shape measuring unit. The arithmetic processing unit comprises: an input device through which one of three parameters including a cutoff value for filter processing, a minimum sampling number, and a ratio of the diameter of a circular cross section to that of a probe is input, the circular cross section and probe being used in rolling circular processing; a parameter table in which the relationship among the three parameters is stored, and that determines, from an input parameter, the other two parameters; and a thinning-out process unit that performs thinning-out process on the measurement data on the basis of the minimum sampling number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
