<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an object to be easily recognized in a camera capable of imaging an omnidirection. <P>SOLUTION: An omnidirectional imaging device comprises an imaging sensor 102 that carries out imaging in a first mode in which all pixels are read out and an omnidirection is imaged or in a second mode in which a part of all the pixels is read out and a specific object is imaged, and a turntable 103 that rotates a camera unit. A moving object detection unit 104, when detecting a motion of the object from a range imaged in the first mode, transmits detection information to an imaging sensor control unit 106 and a turntable control unit 107. Then, the turntable control unit 107 performs control so that the camera unit is rotated to an angle at which the object with the motion detected in the second mode can be imaged in an upright state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
