Disclosed are a method and device for suppressing residual echo, the method comprising: conducting self-adaptive filtering to M channels of transmitter signals to obtain M channels of self-adaptive filtered signals; processing the M-1 channels of self-adaptive filtered signals except the first channel via an array filter to obtain M-1 channels of array filtered output signals; respectively subtracting the M-1 channels of self-adaptive filtered signals from the first channel of self-adaptive filtered signal to obtain M-1 channels of difference value signals, conducting time-frequency conversion and then selecting a channel of domain signal with the least energy; after the first and the M-th channel of self-adaptive filtered signals are time-frequency converted, conducting voice probability filtering to obtain a channel of frequency domain voice probability signal; multiplying the frequency domain voice probability signal by the selected domain signal with the least energy, and using the multiplied result after being frequency-time converted as a transmitter output signal. The technical solution of the present invention suppresses the residual echo effectively, and will not cause damage to near-end voice.
