PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prismatic reflector having a high efficiency and to provide a luminaire that uses the prismatic reflector and has an improved efficiency. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a reflector equipped with a holder for luminous means and provided with a reflection prism, and to a luminaire in which the luminous means are installed with the reflector. According to the invention, there is provided a reflector equipped with a holder for luminous means and has a main element formed in such a manner that a reflection prism is divided into segments. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the main element of the reflector has a design of substantially rotational symmetry.
