<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack and pinion type steering device that reduces the wear of a rack guide received in a housing, without generating an abnormal noise even when a rack shaft swings and tilts. <P>SOLUTION: In the steering device comprising the rack guide 11 that slidably supports a rack shaft supporting surface 11a of the circular arc on the other side to the rack of rack shaft 3, the rack guide 11 is composed of the elastic material, and the radius of the circular arc concave of the rack guide 11 is formed with a curvature radius r that is smaller than the curvature radius R of the formation of rack shaft supporting surface 11a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
