<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive device that improves ease of assembly of a liquid medium supply device and shortens working hours for the assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A rear-wheel drive device includes: a motor; an electric oil pump 70 that supplies a liquid medium to at least one of a section to be cooled, and a section to be lubricated, in the motor; and a case that has a strainer housing chamber in which oil is stored, and a first and a second motor cooling flow passages 120A and 120B, and a first and a second lubricating flow passages 121A and 121B, that connect the electric oil pump 70 and the sections to be cooled and lubricated in the motor. The case is provided with a removable lid member 72 to which the electric oil pump 70 is mounted. The case also has a front opening 105a opening outward. When a lid member fixing portion 105b formed in the case and a case fixing portion 72a formed in the lid member 72 are fixed, the front opening 105a is closed with the lid member 72, and at the same time, an oil discharge passage of the lid member 72 is connected to the first and the second motor cooling flow passages 120A and 120B and the first and the second lubricating flow passages 121A and 121B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
