<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect potential interferences between a PLC system and a broadcast signal radiated in the same frequency bands. <P>SOLUTION: A communication method using a power line communication system (101), which uses power supply lines of a power supply network (104a) as signal transmission lines for interconnecting a plurality of PLC nodes (302, 306), is characterized in that respective PLC node (302, 306) participating in a power line communication session perform the following steps before starting power line communication activities in the power line communication system: scanning a frequency range allocated to the power line communication; taking into account for detection information from the respective PLC nodes (302, 306); detecting frequency bands occupied by existing wireless services; and excluding the occupied frequency bands during the subsequent power line communication. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
