<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating system capable of generating power without generating CO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>or harmful gas. <P>SOLUTION: The power generating system has a combustion cylinder into which plant dust made of plants is supplied and in which dust explosion is carried out, a compressed air supplying means for supplying compressed air, an igniting means executing the dust explosion by igniting mixture of the plant dust and the compressed air supplied into the combustion cylinder, a turbine driven by the blast of the dust explosion, and a power generating apparatus generating power by the drive of the turbine.
