<p>[Problem] The objective of the present invention is to provide a rubber for table tennis with which the direction of the ball can be controlled and the ball can be spun more easily, and with which the speed of the ball can be increased. [Solution] The present invention is a rubber for table tennis which comprises a sponge-like sheet and a rubber sheet which is layered and adhered onto the sponge-like sheet and on which a plurality of protrusions are formed on a surface of the rubber sheet main body to be adhered to the sponge-like sheet. The rubber for table tennis is characterized in that the thickness of the rubber sheet main body in the layering direction is 0.60 mm or less. According to this rubber for table tennis, energy loss of a ball can be minimized so that speed and spin performance can be increased and ball control performance can also be improved.</p>
