<p>An ECU (1A) is provided for an internal combustion engine (50) which uses multiple gaseous fuels as the fuel, and which has in its fuel supply route (FR) a regulator (60A) that is capable of adjusting the pressure of the injected fuel. The ECU (1A) controls the combustion of the internal combustion engine (50) on the basis of the variation in the amount of heat of the fuel when the pressure is adjusted by the regulator (60A). The ECU (1A) estimates the mixture ratio of the fuel being used on the basis of the variation in the amount of heat of the fuel when the pressure is adjusted, and controls the combustion of the internal combustion engine (50) on the basis of the estimated mixture ratio of the fuel being used. Thus, the combustion of the internal combustion engine (50) is controlled on the basis of the variation in the amount of heat of the fuel when the pressure is adjusted.</p> |
