PURPOSE: A safe direction changing device(1) for an electric fan is provided to safely change a direction of a head unit, thereby preventing damage to a turning device. CONSTITUTION: A safe direction changing device for an electric fan comprises an upper body, a lower body, a connection shaft, and a cylindrical holder. The upper body is joined to the lower part of an upper supporting shaft unit(2) and the lower body is joined to the upper part of a lower supporting shaft unit(3). The connection shaft is formed by being spaced from the upper and lower bodies so that the upper and lower bodies are rotated with respect to each other and not separated from each other. Halves of the connection shaft are respectively inserted into grooves which is formed to be faced along central lines of the upper and lower bodies so that the upper and lower bodies are connected to be rotated with respect to each other.
