<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner in which dust is excellently removed over a wide range of a filtration filter, with no ventilation impaired with the reattachment of the removed dust. <P>SOLUTION: In the vacuum cleaner including: a dust collection portion having a vertically mounted filtration filter for filtering and collecting dust contained in an airflow; an electric fan installed on the downstream side of the dust collection portion; and a dust removing device for giving a dust removing vibration from the opposite side of a dust removing surface of the filtration filter, the dust removing device includes a dust removing beater for beating the filtration filter from the downstream side to the upstream side. The dust removing beater has a shape horizontally enlarged over the almost whole width of the filtration filter. The dust removing vibration is given to a part upper than the center of an intake opening positioned on the upstream side of the electric fan in the filtration filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
