Provided is an object information provision system, wherein at least one instance of matching data is transmitted from an object information provision device to a terminal, an image analysis process result based on the matching data is transmitted from the terminal to the object information provision device, and the quantity of information of the matching data is adjusted based on the image processing result. Success or failure in proper extraction of a subject which the matching data represents in the terminal is thus accounted for in the quantity of information of the matching data.
