PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lithium-ion secondary battery which is capable of achieving high energy density while maintaining output.

SOLUTION: A lithium-ion secondary battery D1 includes an electrode having mixture layers 31 formed on both surfaces of a collector 35. A collector-side region 34 of the mixture layer 31 and a surface-side region 32 of the mixture layer 31 have lower porosities than an intermediate region 33 between the collector-side region 34 and the surface-side region 32 of the mixture layer 31.
