<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively assign an identification number for data access to each storage device. <P>SOLUTION: A management device to which different storage devices are connected in series includes: an expectation value calculation part for calculating an expectation value corresponding to a connection order to the management device; a determination part for, when assigning an identification number to a storage device, determining whether its expectation value and the identification number correspond to each other; a cutoff control determination part for setting data access connection between the storage device and subsequent storage devices connected to the storage device into a cutoff state when the expectation value and the identification number do not correspond to each other; and a connection state control part for setting a connection state between the target storage device and subsequent storage devices into a data-accessible state when the expectation value and the identification number correspond to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
