<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake for a vehicle capable of preventing fixing of a back plate and a reaction pawl due to rust while reducing a machining cost by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A protrusion 8e is formed in the side face of the reaction pawl of the back plate 8b of a friction pad 8 of a reaction part side. A through-hole 3m into which the protrusion 8e freely fits is formed in the reaction pawl 3k in a disk axial direction. The protrusion 8e moves in the through-hole and the friction pad 8 assumes a second posture from a first posture of a nonbraking state when braking while running forward and the protrusion 8e moves in a direction different from when braking while running forward in the through-hole and the friction pad 8 assumes a third posture different from the second posture from the first posture of the nonbraking state when braking while running rearward by the force which the brake pad 8 receives from a disk rotor 2, when braking while running forward or when braking while running rearward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
