<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural color body capable of expanding an angle area for observing a structural color and allowing an observer to observe diversified structural colors according to an observation angle. <P>SOLUTION: A structural color body 1 is a film-like body and comprises: a front surface layer 10 disposed on a front surface 1a side; a back surface layer 20 disposed on a back surface 1b side; and an intermediate layer 30 disposed between the front surface layer 10 and the back surface layer 20. The front surface layer 10, the back surface layer 20 and the intermediate layer 30 contain block copolymers and have micro-phase separated structures including lamellar microdomains. Each of the microdomains has a wave-like shape having amplitudes in the thickness direction D1 of the structural color body 1. Maximum values of predetermined distances d1 and d2 in microdomains 12 and 22 of the front surface layer 10 and the back surface layer 20 are larger than the wavelength in the visible light range, and a predetermined distance d3 in a microdomain 32 of the intermediate layer 30 is equal to or less than the wavelength in the visible light range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
