An apparatus for detecting a position of a tire mounted on a vehicle door is provided to improve efficiency of productivity by controlling protruded positions of stopping bolts respectively according to vehicle type. An apparatus for detecting a position of a tire mounted on a vehicle door comprises as follows. A first actuator(10) is installed in one side of a transfer line transferring a vehicle frame. A plurality of stopping bolts(20) are mounted on the first actuator, which are arranged in parallel to the transfer line of the vehicle frame. A second actuator(30) equipped with a stop member(35) is installed in an outer side of the first actuator. In addition, a touch sensor(40) is contacted to a tire of the vehicle frame transferred to the transfer line.
