The disk (1) has a total internal reflection (TIR)-light conductor for displaying an infrared light (IR). A heating device (2) comprises infrared light sources linking the emitted infrared light into the disk, where the infrared light sources are arranged on a narrow side (5) of the disk. The infrared light sources are designed as infrared semiconductor light sources such as infrared LEDs (4) and infrared laser diodes. The heating device comprises an infrared lighting tape with the light sources that are arranged in series on a common carrier (3) i.e. flexible circuit board. An independent claim is also included for a method for heating a disk.
