<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mulching device for a planted tree suppressing growth of weeds around the root of a planted tree, specifically a planted fruit tree, simplifying application of fertilizer, medicaments and the like, and also repelling insects and/or birds. <P>SOLUTION: The mulching device for a planted tree comprises a plurality of fan-shaped mulching pieces, and is structured as follows: the fan-shaped mulching pieces are developed centering around the root of the tree so as to be formed into an annular mulching when used and are superimposed so as to be formed into one assembled set of the fan-shaped mulching pieces when stored; each of the fan-shaped mulching pieces internally has a fan-shaped cartridge whose inner space formed by the body and longitudinal walls thereof is charged with medicaments and/or fertilizer; a plurality of supports upstanding from the fan-shaped mulching pieces are set up; a net-receiving top ring is placed on the top parts of the supports; and an insect/bird repelling net is hung over the outside of the net-receiving top ring and the group of the supports. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
