<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engineered antibody to human IL-17A and its use. <P>SOLUTION: A binding compound, for example an antibody molecule or binding fragment thereof, binds human IL-17A and inhibits its activity. The antibody molecule comprises at least one antibody light chain variable (V<SB POS="POST">L</SB>) domain and at least one antibody heavy chain variable (V<SB POS="POST">H</SB>) domain, or binding fragments of these domains, wherein the V<SB POS="POST">L</SB>domain comprises at least a specified number of complementarity determining regions (CDRs) having an amino acid sequence consisting of a specific sequence, and the V<SB POS="POST">H</SB>domain comprises at least at least a specified number of CDRs having an amino acid sequence consisting of a specific sequence, wherein the specified number is one, two or three. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
