<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool toner in a process unit. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (laser printer 1) includes: a process unit 6 that has a ventilation path 64 on the process side; an apparatus body 2 that accommodates the process unit 6; a guide member 9 that has a guide surface 9A forming a conveyance path 65 of a recording sheet between the guide member 9 and a housing 63; and a fan 81 that generates flow of air that is discharged to the outside of the housing 63 from the conveyance path 65 through the ventilation path 64 on the process side. The guide member 9 is provided with a conveyance roller 37A that conveys the recording sheet, and a detection member 91 that detects the passing of the recording sheet, in such a way that they protrude from the guide surface 9A. A ventilation path 92 on the guide side that is recessed relative to the guide surface 9A is formed on each side in the axial direction of the conveyance roller 37A on the guide surface 9A in such a way to extend in the conveyance direction of the recording sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
