<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlace printing technique that can control the image quality degradation due to properties related to scanning. <P>SOLUTION: The setting method of a printing apparatus that performs printing by repeating the unit printing in which a print head is driven to form a dot on a raster line, and the scanning that relatively moves a print head to a print medium, includes: (a) a step of acquiring property data concerning the properties related to scanning; and (b) a step in which a printing method that is used when the printing is performed in the resolution in which two or more raster lines are arranged in a line interval that is smaller than the nozzle pitch of a print head in the direction of the scanning, is set from among two or more kinds of printing methods with a different order that prints two or more raster lines, according to property data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
