<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic relay that implements an extended product life by suppressing the occurrence of bounce and suppressing the progress of contact wear. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic relay includes: an iron core 18 wound with a coil 4; a yoke 19 supporting the iron core 18 and forming a magnetic path together with the iron core 18; a fixed contact terminal 12 provided with a fixed contact 22; a movable contact spring 20 having one end attached to the yoke 19 and the other end provided with a movable contact 21 opposed to the fixed contact 22, and supporting the movable contact 21 for releasable contact with the fixed contact 22; and a movable contact terminal 10 having one end attached to the yoke 19. The one end of the movable contact spring 20 and the one end of the movable contact terminal 10 are attached to the yoke 19 such that the direction of a magnetic field J2 formed by electrical conduction of the fixed contact terminal 12 and the movable contact terminal 10 is the same as the direction of a magnetic field J1 formed by energization of the coil 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
