<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing esterification reaction products having good adhesion to skin and being excellent in waterproof-film-forming ability, pigment-dispersing properties, water-holding properties, non-dyeing properties, and long-term stability. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of producing the esterification reaction products, an esterification reaction product is obtained by esterifying 2 to 4 mole of 12-hydroxystearic acid polymer having an average polymerization degree of 6 to 12, on the basis of 1 mole of dipentaerythritol, wherein the reaction product has a hydroxyl value of 20 to 70 mg-KOH/g and an acid value of 3 mg-KOH/g or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
