<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct end positions of small-sized sheets except for the largest sheets out of a sheet group with various-sized sheets stacked therein. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet group comprising the sheets of various sizes having different horizontal sizes are stacked on an intermediate tray 18 so that the larger in the horizontal size the sheets are, the lower they are stacked. Lower end of two auxiliary fences 236 is brought into contact with a non-overlapped portion that is not overlapped with the smaller-sized sheets on a top surface of the sheets that are one size larger in a horizontal size than the smaller-sized sheets. Subsequently, intervals between the auxiliary fences are narrowed to bring the fences into contact with both widthwise ends of the smaller-sized sheets, so that both widthwise end positions of the smaller-sized sheets are corrected to target positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
