<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can notify a user by e-mail that a printed matter is stored in a storage box, or can prevent the printed matter from being left in the storage box even if the e-mail address of the user is not registered. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the storage box 22 for storing printed medium; a determination part 3 for determining who has executed the printing; a transmission part 6 for sending an e-mail to the person who has executed the printing; a memory part 3 in which e-mail addresses are registered; and a display part 5 for indicating a message. The apparatus further includes a control part 2 for either sending an e-mail, when the printed medium has been in the storage box 22 for more than a predetermined period, to the person determined by the determination part 3 that has executed the printing, or indicating a message in the display part 5, if the e-mail address of the person executed the printing is not registered in the memory part 3, to indicate that the printed medium is still in the storage box 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
