<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can form a proper amount of deflection on paper in a registration roller and can properly feed the paper to a transfer part. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes: a paper feed roller 7; the registration roller 6 that forms the deflection on the paper P between the paper feed roller 7 and the registration roller 6; a first paper end sensor 24 that is provided upstream of the registration roller 6; a second paper end sensor 25 that is provided downstream of the registration roller 6; a storage part 22 that stores a predetermined stopping period of the registration roller 6 to be correspond to the amount of deflection formed on the paper P; and a main control part 19 that corrects timing for starting the rotation of the registration roller 6, based on a difference between a deflection forming period Tx-Ty and the predetermined stopping period, the difference corresponding to the actual amount of the deflection formed on the paper P, wherein the actual amount of the deflection is obtained as a difference between a time difference Tx that is generated when the two sensors detect a downstream end of the paper P and a time difference Ty that is generated when the two sensors detect an upstream end of the paper P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
