<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor in which deterioration in light shielding properties is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical sensor, a plurality of light receiving elements (20) are formed on a semiconductor substrate (10), a light shielding film (40) is formed on a formation surface (10a) of the light receiving elements (20) in the semiconductor substrate (10) via a translucent film (30), and openings (50) for light transmission which correspond to the light receiving elements (20) are formed in the light shielding film (40).
